ENHANCING AN ARMS PLATFORM FOR AN EDTECH CLIENT AND DELIVERING SEAMLESS SCALABILITY

Background of
the study
An Edtech client approached Nexority Infotech with challenges related to their existing ARMS (Academic Resource Management System) platform. Their previous vendor was reluctant to implement necessary feature updates and charged excessively, making scalability difficult. The client had two primary objectives:
Challenges
- The need to clone the ARMS platform to a new domain while ensuringseamless updates.
- Stabilizing the system architecture to accommodate extensive feature additions.
- Revamping dashboards from Power BI to HTML, including creating 42 dynamic charts for supervisors, managers, and user agents.
- Integrating an email communication engine to allow users to send and receive emails directly through the platform.
Nexority’s Solution
- TEAM EXPANSION – Nexority expanded its development team by onboarding a Project Manager, Tech Lead, Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, and Test lead to meet tight deadlines and manage complex updates efficiently.
- CODE & ARCHITECTURE OPTIMIZATION – The codebase and internal architecture were upgraded to enhance platform stability and performance.
- TECHNOLOGY OVERHAUL – Power BI-based dashboards were replaced with custom-built Angular components to improve usability and visualization.
Results & Impact
- Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Awarded – Nexority secured an annual contract for all technical development, along with two new website projects.
- New Clients Acquired –Two new clients onboarded to the upgraded ARMS platform.
- Seamless User Adoption –300+ users successfully
transitioned to the new platform, improving operational efficiency.
